For a typical 60-second launch video, Photura's published indicative pricing starts at USD 5,000; higher-complexity productions can reach approximately USD 30,000 or more. This is Photura's scope-dependent reference, not a universal SaaS market benchmark or fixed package. Final pricing follows a review of the brief.
The canonical pricing reference covers AI-generated, AI-assisted, hybrid, client-asset-based and original live-action approaches. Runtime alone is not a reliable pricing unit. Two videos of the same length can require very different strategy, production, talent and post-production.
Define the launch video's job
Decide whether the video must introduce a category, explain a workflow, anchor an announcement or support paid acquisition. A hero launch film and a detailed tutorial are not identical deliverables. Trying to fit every feature and every audience into one short film can weaken the main idea.
Write a concise brief: priority audience, problem, product value, proof and next action. Choose which detail belongs in the film and which belongs in supporting demos or the landing page. If you need creator distribution, scope that separately through Creator Growth; producing a launch film does not buy an influencer audience.
Choose the production method around the product story
Usable client footage and approved product assets can reduce original production requirements. AI-assisted or generative production may be appropriate for some concepts, but still needs direction, accuracy checks, editing and rights review. It is not automatically the cheapest or fastest solution for every idea.
Original filming adds requirements such as talent, locations, scheduling and crew. Complex visual effects, bespoke design or multiple markets can add further work. Ask the supplier to explain why the proposed method is necessary, and where a simpler treatment would preserve the message.
| Scope input | Lower production demand may mean | Higher demand may mean |
|---|---|---|
| Source assets | Usable approved client materials | Original capture or asset creation |
| Concept | Focused product story | Custom worlds, effects or many scenes |
| Talent and locations | No original live-action requirement | Casting, sets and scheduling |
| Outputs | One defined master and limited versions | Many adaptations and languages |
| Approval | Stable claims and a named approver | Changing features or multiple review groups |
These are qualitative cost drivers, not a rate card. A restrained visual treatment can still require substantial creative development. A seemingly simple interface sequence may need careful preparation if the product is changing or the demonstration is technically complex.
Count the complete delivery set
State the master runtime, aspect ratios, cutdowns, subtitles, language versions and clean exports. Specify whether source or project files are included and whether they can be transferred under third-party licenses. “One video” should not quietly imply unlimited social versions.
For an illustrative brief, a launch may need one main film, a short announcement cut and vertical adaptations. Each output should have a role and an acceptance criterion. This is an example of scoping, not an included Photura package. If ads require independent hooks and testing variants, discuss the performance creative workstream.
Protect the budget with approval gates
Agree approval at concept, outline or script, production direction and final edit. Specify included review rounds and the distinction between corrections and new scope. Changing the main story after production is different from correcting a subtitle.
Supply approved product capture, claims and brand materials early. Name who confirms accuracy and permissions. Discuss talent, music, stock and AI-output use with the relevant rights owners; do not assume every input is cleared for all markets and paid media.
Reduce complexity before reducing clarity
When the quote is high, simplify the number of scenes, original filming, markets or outputs. Keep the product's central value understandable. Avoid cutting review so aggressively that the film becomes inaccurate or difficult to deploy.
Photura's Launch & Creative service is built around one idea and useful adaptations. Use the published reference for early planning, then approve a scoped quote. Its indicative range is not a commitment to deliver every conceivable launch requirement within a fixed ceiling.
